Entering the last few days of my trip with my family.
Currently we are in D.C. walking about, looking at monumental things, enduring monumental heat and humidity.
Reminds me of Atlanta. Though the weather channel tells me they have it worse.
It has been a few years since I have been here, and sadly, my favorite restaurant has closed (it was a cajun place in the Adams-Morgan area).
Any one have any suggestions?
Today more museums, more memorials, maybe the zoo, and so on.
Since I last posted we've been to the battlefields at Gettysburg, eaten chocolate at the theme-park nightmare that was Hershey, ogled strange religious sects in Lancaster, declared ourselves independent in Philadelphia, and scrambled around on the Battleship New Jersey in Camden.
I leave for California on Tuesday morning early, and move into my new place Saturday.
Feels like a new start.
