I finished Tom & Carol's baby blanket Sunday night, yay! I used the same pattern I used for the first baby blanket I did (that I never got pictures of) so it was pretty easy. I like the yarn I used for this one better than the yarn for the first one.

Now I'm working on some small blankets for one of the local animal shelters. I figure it's a good way to get some practice without the pressure of it having to be 'perfect', plus the animals get little blankies to cuddle. :)

I also shamelessly stole an idea from one of the crafters in craftgrrl, snowman kits. Only, I couldn't find little jars so I used those plastic ornaments that you can fill and snap together. I actually like them better. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to put labels on them or not.

Their scarves are actually a darker blue than in the pictures. And I used orange toothpick ends for carrots, because I couldn't find mini carrots and no way was I making my own. I also glued them together because they didn't snap together very tight.
