Our internet has been kind of dodgy of late, to the point where I wouldn't even try to connect. Dad finally called on it yesterday, and SBC came out today and fixed it. Yay, Internet! I'm connected to the rest of the world again!

HOOK IT TO MY VEIN!!!
Spent most of the day out in the yard (somewhat due to the lack of internet, but mostly because it was sooo nice out and the gardens needed a lot of work) and got a lot done. I pulled out HUGE MONSTER OVERGROWN GROUPS of mums and purple-creepy-stuff from the front garden. Mom's going to re-plant it in front of the house, behind the hostas. There was a ton of weeding and deadheading and general cleaning up of the beds.
After that I started painting the little table I'd bought at Kane County last month. The stain and varnish was so deep into the wood that the stripper couldn't lift it. Dad had to take it apart and sand it to get all that off, and still couldn't get it all off. Today I only painted one side of each piece of wood (there are five pieces) with two coats of white paint. Tomorrow I'll get out there and do the other side. Hopefully, the old stain won't bleed through.
