I can't see, no I can't breath, I'm barely hanging on....
So here is a little update because I am bored sitting at reception with nothing to do. I get to go home in 6 hours and cuddle violettedream 's wonderful dog. He has been a good companion for me and I will miss him when he goes home next week. Maybe I'll get a cat. Because I am not home enough to take care of a dog.
I spent Christmas day with a huge migrane. Like tears and throwing up. It was bad. But my AE manager says it might be the low pressure system that came through. I'm not prone to migranes though. Sister promised to send me aspirin when she gets home. She went to the Ranch and spent Christmas with the Grandparents and Father. I was expecting to spend the day alone so it wasn't a huge disapointment. I knew i would be in a foul mood and didn't want to bring anybody else down, even though I was invited to four different houses. Christmas isn't Christmas without my mother. I think I am going to take a leave of absence from AE next year so I can go home. We will see what happens.
OH! Virgin Radio, the local station, does $1000 minute every morning at 7:10. Today I called in to play and I got through. You have to answer all 10 questions right and then you win a thousand dollars. I got 6/10 right so I got $60 bucks. Which is better than a kick in the pants. My wrong answers:
1) What shoe company makes the pump shoes? Rebock ( I said air jordans lol)
2) What is the name of the Jamaican born Canadian who lost gold because of drug use? Ben Johnson
3) What is the upscale area where Molly's pub is? Kensington (Calgary is broken into areas and I've only been here 6 months so how was I supposed to get that??)
4) What movie did Tom Cruse play a bartender in? Jamaican Heat
Ok so yah I think i did pretty good for not knowing those.
I've worked a lot in the past week for having Monday and Tuesday off from Cole. My next full day off from anything (AKA PJ day) is Monday the 3rd. My apartment is a mess and NEEDS some attention. I also want to finish some wash clothes for friends.
In other news, the guy I've been talking to is super distant. He blames being "busy" and it could probably be true but seriously if you are interested don't you make the time for the other person. I invited him over for pizza on New Years Eve. We will see if he responds. I know that pizza is his favourite food. Yah, I use things against people.. but only in the "I want to see you" kind of way.
