Random Adventures full of Crazy
Ok So my yesterday (Sat June 13, 2009) was off the charts crazy.
I went to work for 8:00 at my new job for a Telecommunications Organization (I answer questions when people call in. It isn't glamorous but it is a job) and I had some good calls and some bad calls. All in all it was an ok day.
After work I went over you my friends house. We had plans to hang out which was fine. We Brain Stormed what to do for our time together and decided to go rent a movie. So it was 6:00 by the time we got to Block buster and rented Nick and Norah's Infinite play list ((Which was super cute and really adorable and I think that if Michael Cera weren't born in '88 then I would defiantly be more inclined to find him attractive.)) and Last Chance Harvey, Which i am watching tomorrow so I will let you know if it is good.
Anyways, we went to the local smoothie shop that is made of delicious, Euphoria. And grabbed a smoothie to share. By this time I was hungry and we had talked about Dinner. So I decided to offer to pay for her dinner. We went to Caseys and ate delicious food.. Too much of it but it was still delicious. By that time it was around 8:30. We decided that Blizzards would satisfy the need for sweet so we went to DQ and got some and then went to the car wash because she wanted to get her car washed. I am cool with that :D.
Then we headed back to my house to watch the movies and do her laundry because I pimp out my ability to wash clothes for free so people will come visit me.. :D and I like people. So yah on the way this was our conversation that led to the place of the emminent disaster.
Her: Do you have any munchies?
Me: Nope but we could swing in at Macs if you want.
Her: Wouldn't Walmart be cheeper?
Me: Oh, yah it would. Plus then I can get my blue paint for Monday ((story about the paint later))
Her: Ok. Let's go.
So we go to Walmart and look around the clothes (I picked up another shirt) and then we went to the shoes. She tried on a few pair and chose to wear one around Walmart before deciding if she was going to buy it. (smart Idea) So we look around the back of Walmart a bit, mostly at the yarn and such before making our way over to the paint desk to get my paint. I order the paint and it takes a bit for the people to come over because by this time it was 9:45ish.
Then we go pick up the snacks for the movies and go to then we go to the cash. As we are standing in the cash line my friend looks for her car keys and can't find them in her purse. So we retrace our steps and look all around, asking the associates if they have seen them. By this time it was 10. So my friend calls her landlord to let her into the apartment and she has spare keys there. So we go outside and wait for a cab. While we are waiting some random older gentleman that we talked to in Walmart (he worked there) offered us a ride to her house. So we took the ride.
We waited outside her house for a while and then the guy came. He opened her door and then offered us a ride back to Walmart, where her car was. By this time it was 10:30. We put my stuff, that I was carrying the whole time, in her car and then go look one more time for her keys. We went back to the shoe department and I replayed the events leading up to loosing the keys. We went up one isle and down the other, the only two isles she was in trying on shoes. And we found them. I swear we have been up and down that isle like 4 times looking for them. But we were happy to find them.
So by 10:40 we had had a major adventure that took us all around town. but it was a good night.
I am working like a mad woman to no avail. I have no time to hang out with friends or do anything. My writing has taken a serious down turn and I don't like that.
On a happier note. I began painting my apartment last Monday. The back of the bookshelf is brown and I picked up the blue for the insides of the shelves and maybe the window frames. I really haven't decided yet.
