Taichou, I hope you liked the gift I gave you. I know it wasn't much and was terribly late, but since you wouldn't tell me anything you like, I hope just having a simple lunch made for you was fine~ ...And I did work my best as always during training, if that's what you wanted to hear also. But you were there, so I guess it's a bit pointless to say that.
I know another birthday is coming up as well, though, so it looks like I need to plan some more.
So Shouta-kun, what are you wanting for your birthday? It's less than a week away and you've barely said anything. It's your 20th year. This should be a big deal, right? ...Or so I'm believing. I don't know about the capital, but 20th birthdays always seemed like a major milestone for everyone I've known and turned into big celebrations, especially if they're nobles.

I know this won't fit your preferences, but I need some help. I want to head to an area of town that...I'm not familiar with at all. If that weren't enough, there seems to be something strange going on there in the air that's making people sick. My best friend included. I don't like the sound of that at all. ...And since the city guard seems to be...picky about what they choose to pay attention to in that area of town, that means I need the outside help all the more.
