(no subject)
So I could talk about Thursday night, but nobody really wants to hear it, and I don't really want to remember it. Yesterday was fun though, even at school. Well, I was really really really tired all day, but Rahman apparently noticed and said that I didn't have to to my test retake that day, I can do it on Tuesday, and in history, Kaffy disappeared for long periods of time, and we only had half of Spanish because of the "fire," or at least for half of Spanish there were four people in the classroom and we were all talking in Spanglish, and health was hilarious as usual, with Ben and Kiri getting in a shouting fight about freedom of speech and the press because Mechem had gone on the PA like four times to tell us that SATs were being cancelled in various locations. After school was more fun though... I took various Ts (quite successfully I might add, despite the fact that Mom was freaking about about it and I've been taking the T my ENTIRE LIFE) to Aaron's school, met like 30,000 of his friends (let's see if I can do this... Laura, Dave, Bernie, Aleks, Bernstein, Coleman, Mott, Dan, Dann, Mike, Roshni, Anna, Shishi, Joe, Dygo, Toby (no Ali, not your Toby)... wow I rock), and he gave me the "grand tour" of his school, which took about 10 minutes because his school's TINY. Then we got free food and I ate too much of it, well actually not that much but it felt like it because my stomach started getting all weird, and we listened to some good/bad/OK poetry and Bernie playing his guitar and "singing" (Magillll..... he wears glassessssss....), and it was funny. And of course who could forget Dygo's story about the ninja rats... yeah his school's kinda weird. Then we went to get food at BurritoMax, and something funny happened there but I forget what it was, well, I recall the whole night being funny. Hahaha. We got on the green line and we going to go to the Frog Pond to skate, but I started going into my "tired Katya cycle" and by the time we got off the green line I was in the laughing hysterically at ANYTHING point in the cycle, so we decided to just go on to Alewife, where we walked down the "up" escalator for a while, then called my dad and then went up to the roof of the parking garage where it was really really windy. Then we came down and my dad came and picked us up, drove Aaron home, and drove me to the Whits, where I saw approximately the last 4 minutes of Pirates of the Caribbean, then Sarah and I tried to have a powwow and failed, and we would've today, but the violin party's cancelled so we can't. We'll have one soon, though.
All in all, I think last night made up for Thursday, and Aaron's just great because he's one of the first boyfriends I've had who I KNOW will never, ever do anything to try and hurt me or cheat on me or anything like that. Quite a few people at his school asked me, when introduced as his girlfriend, "who the hell would go out with Magil?!" to which I can reply, "well, I would," and probably get lots of weird looks, but hey, it's everybody else's loss, not mine.
