i'd have to give Dahr Jamail serious props. this is a journalist with some serious BALLS out there doing what needs to be done - getting the truth out from the front lines out to the rest of the world. he has been in Iraq risking his life for many months getting some independent reporting done, interviewing hundreds of people and taking shocking

i'm glad you took notes, cuz my attention span sucks and its either take notes or listen. which you can't do (take notes) without really listening so, yeah. i'm glad you did cuz that way it doesn't go in one ear and out the other with me, which would have made it totally pointless for me to go. yay note taking lemur. as a wannabe journalist, this guy does, as you say, have big time BALLS. i need to grow some, cuz i don't wanna be a dinky photo-journalist for bullshit stuff that i hate just so i can make money. i may need to face some unpretty stuff and man oh man, that stuff is ugly.

it really broke my heart when one picture of a deceased civilian was shown and he compared it to pictures in the holocaust museum. and yet some people think its wrong to compare this shit to that. they can't see that we're just on the opposite side now. anyways, i'm depressing myself and i just wanted to add some of my two cents cuz i'm too lazy to think of my own stuff to put on my journal. also, i love you! k bye
