(no subject)
well i went all over different places on westheimer & montrose today, looking for someone to interview for my project in class. tomorrow i'm gonna go see the owner of la mexicana to see if he'll do it. this interview is due thursday...ahhhhhhh..hectic. hopefully i will find someone in the next 2 days, cause it takes an unbelievably long time to transcribe a full interview (this i learned from the last one..but then again, that one was 2-3 hours long..the minimum is really 45 mins).
we watched a documentary on the U.S. invasion and cue in Panama in class today. it just made something in me click - when you see these things actually happening and see things a little more from the perspectives of people in other countries, you get more of a sense of the empire we live in. sort of like backwards deja-vu from the Iraq war - same media behavior, same military dirty tricks tactics & propaganda, most of the very same people running our gov, etc.
ok tomorrow will be another hectic day but it will be fun. i do have this other paper due monday but i have 2/3 of it done already, and i have saturday until i go in to work at 6 to do it.
oh! and monday was fun..it was April & I's 10 month anneversary, i love her sooo much. we ate at Katz's and stuff :)
tuesday she came over, yet again, my parents barely spoke more than 1 or two sentances to her..and we all even ate together. pretty fucking stupid. what is their problem? they don't have any reason to not give her a chance before they pass judgement..it' been 10 months now. and they still haven't gotten to know her at all, they still don't like her even though they hardly know her at all, and they won't give me 1 reason. oh well. let them be assholes..it doesn't phase me.

yesterday was the usual ihop study-date, then goin over to grandma's late :)
