I seriously find it... i don't know how to phrase "amusing" without it sounding like i think hundreds of deaths and war is amusing but i don't know what other word to use...that both sides claim victory. Sorry, israel, you did not "eliminate the state within a state" as you claim. Sorry, Hezbollah, you did not win a "strategic, historic victory" against israel. How could either side be so fucking ignorant (purposely or accidentally) and say that they won the war. Hezbollah is STILL THERE, israel, and you don't have to pretend like you succeeded in doing anything more than killing hundreds of innocent people because it's just not true. Hey, Nasrallah, Israel is STILL THERE so you didn't do anything special (save kill innocent people, as well) either. I hope the cease-fire holds just so more people don't die but i don't think that there is any sort of resolution and i don't think there will ever be one. Blah the whole situation just makes me mad because it's like trying to put two north facing magnets together because it will just never happen. There are so many ignorant people in the world and i'm not pretending to be all enlightened and smart; I just know that constantly killing people achieves nothing. Evidently so many people just can't realize that. Let's not even talk about iran.
