I played my first game of Call of Cthulhu tonight. Apparently summoning horrors from beyond time and space is a bad idea. I kind of had an idea of walking the edge of using dark magics to combat the forces of evil, but apparently unlike in Star Wars, walking the line of the Dark Side just gets players killed.

Still, it was really fun. Rather different from the generic D&D fantasy that I'm used to, and I liked that a lot.
