Employee loyalty is an important thing to many companies. Each employee is an investment given the number of paid hours it takes to get an employee "up to speed" and fully trained to do the job they were paid for. It always amazed me in the past (when working for rudy-poo bush-league companies) at the failure of a company's managment to grasp this concept.
Employee morale is of parallel importance. Ensuring that an employee sees themselves as a vital component of a greater organism whose overall health is dependant on the ability of the particulars to see the greater good is enormously important.
Here at Softchoice Corporation the managment has taken a simple, yet elegant approach to ensure both loyalty and morale issues are securely in hand.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON BEER CART.
That's right folks. At the end of a hard work week Softchoice Corporation ensures that employees are happy, rewarded, and slightly inebriated by offering its employees FREE BEER at 4pm on Fridays.
Loyalty can be bought. And often it can be bought cheap.... My loyalty can be bought for a beer a week. Its free beer, which as we all know is the finest and best thing in life.
We have the beer. We have the technology. Now all we need.... IS YOU!*
