Going back to where I came from, so far away but not so far from home...

Just another day at work. I got called lazy today, though not in those words and not by my boss either. The guy was saying "I like Dan, but he just doesn't like to work". I didn't want to help him stock his zone, having a pretty big pile of orders for the day. I did eventually get my shit done, but only at the last minute. Then at 4:10 when I'm starting to get ready to wrap up the day, I get another drop. On top of that, both of the pallet jacks are out of juice. I had to do everything else after that with a manual pallet jack... I can't stand being called lazy or anything along those lines, especially not when I work as hard as I do. I do my job without complaints, and since I started I haven't called in sick or even so much as thought about it. Things are so disorganized at Vandalia that no one even knows who's working hard, and who's slacking off. I've taken my own measures to be organized though, my zone is not only the cleanest but the easiest to pull as well. Most times I'm done with my work before the break in the middle of the day. Anyone who has the time to analyze me performing my job is obviously not focused on what they're doing anyway, so who's really the lazy one? Not me, I have too much invested into this job to give it my second best. I'm also thinking about picking up a weekend job, even after working a full forty hours a week... So I'm pretty baffled as to why anyone in this world would call me lazy.
