Got about 3/4 of the way through the movie Absolute Beginners, an old musical from 1986, and had to walk out of the room because it was so horrible. Had a good premise, but was just...well...far too 1980's for me. It has David Bowie in it, but I would only recommend it to the EXTREME fanboys, because even with David Bowie singing, the scene is still pretty shitty.
I was hoping Alli would call back--we kept getting disconnected when we were talking earlier. Such is life, I suppose. I'll give her a call tomorrow to check in on the situation.
