Kite had been told repeaedly to be careful when dealing with Ys. A number of people said not to trust him. And yet, Kite had given him a location, Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. He was glad to see that the Cathedral was empty as he warped into the area. But then again, it probably wouldn't have been very hard to scare people away.
Kite sat down on

The navigation of the network was no hard task. He had created such things himself a number of times. All faded, now, with time and advancement, but Yuca knew the paths as well as any programer might.
From his computer in the lab, which connected to that man, Ishmael's, remotely, he ran the Artifical Self Program. It looked like him, it talked like him, but it was Ys as Kite knew him. As how he was on that interesting little community.
A cathedral appeared on the screen, and Yuca wondered if this was the right place. A church, of all places? How could and AI prescribe to the notion of God beyond his virtual designer?
Through a microphone he called, with Ys's voice, "Kite? Are you there?"

Slowly, Kite moved towards his friend. That was.. an exact image of himself? Projected into The World? ...interesting.
((Oh also, if Ys walks towards the Cathedral gates, he will hear this background music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmE2-QdjLy4 ..very softly ( ... )

He looks so small here, he noted. How tall would he be in this kind of world. Would he even fit on one of the tables?
Ys the AI smiled, a little shyly, certainly happily, and Yuca said into the mic, "There you are!"
((Thanks! <33))

Kite came to a halt still a fair distance away from Ys. He had been very curious, so he probably wanted time to really look at him. Kite tilted his head a little and looked down at the projection. Why had he insisted to come?

Yuca was curious. A program error?

He raised his arm, making another floating screen appear, and moved a litle closer to Ys so that he could see too. Oddly enough, the screen moved with him.
The screen showed a design file of the original Kite, a 3D model. As the model was moved a little to the side, the construction process of his own exterior was shown on the oposite end, with the original at the side for reference. In the middle of likening the AI to the original, red error messages began crowding the screen, warnings of intrusions, viruses, data alterations. With that, the screen went black before being shut down again.

So Kite could control his world, to a point. How interesting...
Yuca put his hand over the mic and chuckled lowly. Maybe he could do something about the music, too.

...something like that, yes.
...it's not like he'd be able to explain it any better right now anyway.
Once more he looked at Ys questioningly. He had looked like himself all along, nothing had ever changed about that. That Kite on the screens had only been a recording.
But looking into the other boy's red eyes stirred something... some kind of memory. Red eyes, just like-
Without noticing he had, Kite averted his eyes and raised one of his hands to hold his head, before shaking his head slightly.
I really
I

Out of the corner of his eye, Yuca checked the progress of the recording. He wanted to watch this later, to analyze it. Never knew what you could miss the first time through.

He shook his head slowly, to signal that it was okay now.
...besides, he couldn't really explain it himself anyway.

He did feel okay. Well, as okay as he normally would. He seemed a little insecure at Ys' reaction but remained standing, giving a noncommital shrug.
...shouldn't I?

...I'm fine.
But in the end, he crouched down in front of Ys, putting himself at the other's eye-level.

He wanted to ask why Ys had been so worried. And where this program came from, this projection. Being unable to talk was such an inconvenience sometimes.
So Kite sat on the ground, frowning to himself.
