slam n' stuff

All right, I finally went to a Slam, people. Lindsay suggest Urbana, so I gave it a shot. I did not, however, Slam. I just wanted to watch and see what it was about. I've met mister mahly before. He IS a schmuck. i got similar treatment from the slam pappy himself after I WON his shitty slam (no comp). He kept saying (as if it were a magical cantation) "you're from TENnesSEE? TennesSEE?" asshole. he can't dance either.

i wished i lived in nyc.
mister mali is pretty full of himself, though it's nice to see him in a workshop setting sometimes, llleeeerrrnnning.can't believe the bama comment.b'ham's sent teams, and the hardestys are at the heart of slam.lots of gossip last year about mali.it is too bad he can write/perform so well.
so, was the new mc kristin aptowitz, i wonder?
my favorite poet, former urbana is rachael mckibbons, who is now the master at louder arts/bar 13.

that's funny- I never wanted to live in NYC. Portland and Nashville have my vote right now...
Dunno who that host was, and there was only one female slammer- doubt it was Rachel.
