one last tourist rant
A year's passing makes it easy to forget how INCREDIBLY FUCKING ANNOYING tourists are during the holidays. But there they were last night... walking all stupid and slow, clogging up the sidewalks with their glazed-over eyes, shopping bags, and general urban befuddlement. Do they have walking where you come from?!?! MOVE!!! Holy shit, I will never miss living in a city that everyone "hearts."
Ah, but this year I had two genetic wonders--very tall, very big men--to clear the path before me. It was like Moses parting the Red Sea, but scary guys parting Chinatown. Dim Sum was eaten, laughs were had, and I made it back home without killing anyone. Christmas miracle.
