something I haven't done in years
L has emptied a drawer in his dresser and is pulling out t-shirts from his closet to make room for my suitcase of clothes. I'm folding my jeans into the drawer. He looks at the newly occupied drawer and asks, "Is that enough, Sweetie?"
I smile and nod, and L sits down on the floor directly behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my neck. "I have a boyfriend," I marvel.
"Who loves you very much," he replies.
Come early January, we'll be figuring out where best to fit the rest of my clothes.
