So. More than one person has prompted me to write about
Saturday's meeting with S, which is really heartwarming. Ya'll payin' attention. But really, it's nice to know there's some concern (or just plain curiosity) pointed in my direction. I get a little stuck in my own brain sometimes (don't we all).

There is definately a soft spot in my heart for people with mental illness. My mother is bipolar (i'm not familiar with "b" but I think he may mean BP II, my mom's a rapid-cycler) and while forgiving her was a long time coming, what it gave me early was the knowledge that mental illness IS illness and I can no more NOT have migrianes or thyroid disorder than people can NOT be crazy. Yes, its hard to handle sometimes but I've learned how to stay in my own world, set good boundaries and not take things personally that aren't about me. Three lessons I'm very happy to have learned/continue to practice. :)
I wish you luck and love and I'm (as always) so happy to see compassion in the world. Bipolar is just that Bi, so know that sometimes you'll get the unicorn and other times it will be the stonewall, but neither is a reflection on YOU.
love love love. You know where to find me if you ever just need a good vent.

Thank you, sweetheart. Once again, we're in a similar situation in a similar time. Twins!
