Pride was FANTASTIC! C and I were in the Dyke March on Saturday and watched the Pride Parade Sunday. The interesting thing--besides the fact that, in two Peruvian floats, we saw zero biological women--was the reaction to the signs I made. On Saturday, mine said: "The most violent element in society is ignorance." (Emma Goldman, Anarchist). Many a photo was taken. Sunday's MLK quote, "A right delayed is a right denied," received even more attention, including the serious nods, thumbs up, blown kisses, and waves from NY politicians. Very cool. Now get back to work.

I'm off to AL in a few minutes. Going to visit Mom and Chip (stepdad) in H'ville, Jules and Joshua in Nash, and the whole gang in B'ham. Can't wait, but I miss my kitty and my lady already.
