This morning I awoke to an email from C, entitled: "Hi." There was no message within. Rather, she had attached two exquisitely adorable photos of herself, holding a card. On the first she had written, "Hi!" The second said, "It's 1 A.M. and I am thinking about you." Naturally I melted. I then returned myself to solid form and sent her similar photos that read, "Good morning!" and "You just made my day."
Besides being charming and romantic, she generously bestowed upon me some insightful advice regarding my annoyance over my friends' somewhat lackadaisical, boozy take on Pride and Marriage Equality. Essentially: they are what they are, and you can't change them. And I'm supposed to be the Buddhist...
She's fantastic, and I can't wait to spend the weekend in the gay gayness of Pride with her.
