The Obama-Biden Administration already responded to my initial job query, thus I spent last night completing a rather lengthy application. There are over 7,000 jobs to be filled in this new Administration; I'm hopeful I'll score *something*, or perhaps *anything*. There were a few sections that focused on areas of interest and/or expertise, so I casted a net over finance, civil rights, and the arts. Considering my legal/administrative background in all three, I think I'm interesting enough to call for an interview. Or not. Maybe I'll come off unfocused. But I'm going to remain optimistic--seemed to work for Obama, after all.
How cool would it be to leave my job by saying, "Peace out! I'm going to work for the President. See ya in a regulatory audit."
