Please, please, please people, spare me the embarrassment of gift exchanging this year. I simply cannot afford to buy presents, not even for my family. And don't pull that stale "well, I already got you this" routine either. It'll just make me feel worse. I'm moving too, so nanny nanny boo boo, you can't find me anyway. And no, I'm not going to AL for the holidays--gotta work, can't afford to travel. Seriously, don't mess with my guilt right now, I might really crack, and it's not nice to make people cry, no matter the time of year. Just gently leave me alone, I swear I'll thank you for it.
