Well I hope everyone had a great gift-exchanging experience and that you received the loot of your dreams.
Ah yes, that time of year where you hope to break even, yet that special "emergency" credit card has made far too many appearances at the register as of late... When you have to trot out your best, "oooh!" face when you really mean, "uh?" When homecomings require just the right family to alcohol proportion and anything above or below the magic ratio can spell disaster. When cookies are perhaps your only true friends. And when sometimes, just sometimes you wish for a zippo because that tree is looking miiiiighty dry...
I hope everyone had a helmet and that it was filled with the hard liquor of your choice. Ah, Christmas. What would fine retail stores do without us dumb suckers?
I'll be leaving AL sometime tomorrow. If you missed me that's probably your fault, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Deepest sympathies to those stuck in NYC during the transit strike. I hope Santa left all those bastard union workers a wet lump.
Merry whatever the hell it is you celebrate. New York, I'm coming home.
