Today, while pouring over potential donors for educational programs at the museum, I noticed a pattern: literacy programs are hot. Which is to say, funding reading programs is very "in" right now. I went to the director and proposed that at least one of the programs surrounding the next exhibition focus on child literacy. That way, even the stingiest of foundations and corporate sponsors might bite. And, what publisher doesn't want to give away books for the project? Said publisher gets to dump books that aren't selling, plus get a nice little line about their generosity. Director loved it.
Whose workin' for you, daddy? Now kiss my ass and give me an A.
