"its not my fault- i can't do math" - Bryan
WONDERFUL weekend. i apologize, this may take a bit of your time to read, and it may waste some of your life. this is just a warning, you may not want to proceed.
slept in on friday :)
went to baynes to get amanda a caramel apple to say "thank you"
(got myself one too... hehehe)
drove lovely 4.5 hours down. we thought we got there at 4:30, when in fact, there is a time change, so we got there at 3:30. so i sat around a little bit. but thats ok. watched them swim, had a lovely talk with keith, and then practice was done and we went to dinner.
dinner was a little awkward because i swill hadnt really met them yet, but it got better. besides, kyle made it fun by throwing silverware, bottles, etc at everyone.
went to a concert, "lost and found" they were good. i was cracking up. we came to the conclusion that the sideways 8, the infinity sign, you pronounce that by "whoooo!" it was fun.
then we went to sigma tau's hanuted house. it was ok, ansel was freaking out so he decided to go in with us girls (me, amanda, and leah) it was hilarious, he was screaming thru the whole thing. then p.j., who uses whatever excuse he can get to take off his shirt and show off his tattoos. which, the chinese symbol he has on his back, he looked it up wrong, and instead of saying "friendship" it says "friendboat" hahahahahah
after that we headed over to laurens house and we had a girls night. so much fun. coookies, brownies, and salsa. we played apples to apples (see, you never grow up in college) and played guitar, and then went home... around 1? yeah
i got to sleep in till 9:30 while everyone else swam. :) then we went to breakfast, had a lovely conversation. i was inducted into the SBC (sucky breaststroke club) only minimally tho- i have to keep my time slower than a 1:20. ill work on that. after that... we watched veggie tales. :) <3 veggie tales! then amanda had to study, so joycie and i went SHOPPING! :) also love shopping. came back bout 3 and headed over to walmart and then katie j's apartment to make TACOS! yummy. i cut up the onions :'( they made me cry. but its all good. then the guys came over and we ate and played mafia. ryan (the other recruit) and i were the mafia one time, and we took out kyle first, and everyone thought it was shannon, nto us, cuz apparently thats an inside joke with them. SO we won. yay us! and then we were going to go "trunk or treating" which is like trick or treating, but out of trunks. but- it ended up being like all little kids, so we didnt go :( so we went back to katies, and watched sisterhood of the traveling pants. at about 8 we went to the hypnotist. OMG THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER! amanda and shannon went up there, and it was really funny cuz shannon had been hypnotized before, so she got it really strong this time. "he goes 'wooo'!" and she went around talking to peoples shoes. yet after that, we went back to amandas room and got dressed and went to the sig ep dance party. hahah my first frat party. wonderful. it was quite interesting. so crowded, but tall dave saved me (hes 6'10") some random drunk guy wouldnt stop dancing with me.... but then dan and adam pushed me into the middle. hahaha. so fun. adam went as a chippendales guy, dan went as adam from adam and eve... yeah, i know, and ansel went as a chick. very interesting night. ended with me and katie j looking for leah, not finding her, being somewhat stuck in the room, adn climbing out of a window. then walking back to the dorms. freezing. but- it was fun. then bob and tall dave came back with us to finish the pants movie. it was ok, then we went to bed at 2:30, but after the time change, it was 1:30. love an extra hour of sleep.
today: woke up at 8, showered, got ready, got my stuff, and we all went out to breakfast with bryan (the coach) and the other recruit and his family. it was funny cuz kyle told adam to go to the arc (athletics and recreation center) instead of breakfast, so they ended up being late. fun times. (and its really funny cuz adam is from wisconsin, and says stuff like "coach" funny) after that, we dropped off amanda and went for a meeting with bryan. i sign next next week. :) love it.
and that was my weekend.
TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN!
i am so tired right now.... even tho its early
