So sensei arrived to class late, asked how many people wanted to go see the inauguration, went on a five minute rant on why he loved Obama, then told us to go ahead to Lower Lounge and watch.
So, it now being ten past noon, I ended up sprinting coatless across Olin Plaza hoping not to fall on any ice. And even though the stairs were covered in melted snow, I somehow managed to charge down them at full speed until the very last step, which sent me stumbling into Wismer Lower in the middle of President (ZOMGWUHSUIHA) Obama's speech. And in addition to everyne near the door giving me annoyed looks, it just so happened that Will and Lindsay were sitting across the room where they could easily see the door, and while Lidsay was raptly attentive to the screen, Will totally saw my remarkable entrance and was very, "...o_0"
But I did get to hear most of President (ZOMGBHRASKA) Obama's speech. And afterwards when I joined everyone sitting on the floor, Will was like, "Oh, I saw you...come in."
In other news, I am irritated and impatient.
That being unrelated to me encountering sorority girls who don't even live in Sprankle getting sick in our second floor bathroom right next to our RA's room at 11 on a Tuesday night. While I'm finishing up my shower. And my clothes are in the stall closet.
And so, while I'm standing in my room in a kinda undersized towel informing Allie of this oddity, I get a text from my father that apparently there was a fire in the living room today, and that while the house is generally okay there's a lot of smoke damage and the cat's gone missing.
*sigh*
And, oh, shit, there may or may not be competition afoot. She said she wouldn't have gone ahead with him unless she were sure, and I thought that too, but now? WTF.
