Ew. My flute leaked on me.
Got a response about PYO. September 10th, 4:30. Shit, it's closer then I thought. That Brahms exerpt is gonna kill me.
So today was intense. Besides adding to my collection of pins (A-chan, i kept trying to text message you), I got back in time to hang out in CH.
Today's first lesson learned:
Do not start out on a grand journey unless you have a backup plan in case it starts storming.
When I left Borders, it was really dark and spitting a bit. Instead of thinking, "Whoa, let's go back inside," me being me, I thought, "Hey! This I a great time to go to the playground! No one will be there!"
By the time I got down there, it was really raining, but not enough to truely distress me. I hung out underneath one of the drier parts of the playground. When I dried off a little, I tried to venture out to other part of the structure, but a few seconds out there and my pants were soaked. So I went back underneath where I was hanging out before to wait it all out. And then it really started.
A complete downpour, with all the thunder and lightening and the works. It was great, if not a bit uncomfortable. I had to crouch in a little ball because where I was hiding was too low to stand but the ground was wet.
Very peaceful and serene, watching the rain and lightening. I so love this weather. I was able to just sit there and comtemplate.
Today's second lesson learned;
I seriously need to get back in touch with reality. Most of the time I just thought about FH.
Eventually I got tired of crouching like that, and it didn't look like it was going to let up, so I just made a run for it and got entirely soaked.
Made my way back up the hill to Cosimo's to get something to eat. Storm went on for another hour, stopped for a few minutes, then went on for another two.
Now I'm hungry again.
Anyway, I actually got a
deviantart. Don't really have much up.
