He gets by meeting eccentric hosts through Couch Surfing, hitchhiking, and working odd jobs. Plus, there’s some money left from his cringeworthy child actor days. But it’s time to lay low for a while if he wants his funds-and sanity-to last.
Next stop: Atlanta, Georgia. There, Jared lives with his new host, Jensen Ackles, a reserved blogger with a charmed life and an even more charming smile. Jensen’s benevolence is beyond Jared’s expectations, pure southern hospitality. With Jared fresh out of long-term options, Jensen offers an extended stay in exchange for work done around the house. Jared agrees to the arrangement reluctantly and settles in, soon learning that he and Jensen share more than just the same space. And for once, Jared’s future doesn’t seem rocky like the mountains he once escaped to. But always running away means that something is bound to catch up.
