sickly's sense of snow
argh. i’m sick and all the fun weather is supposed to start tomorrow. boo! i have also missed the last two days of work and will need to take some pdos. and poor jodi being stuck there mostly by herself. i think at this point we’re all just hoping they close the office monday.
i should be wrapping brian’s present while he is out of the house, but oh well. i’ll do that eventually. he still has to buy mine sometime tomorrow, so i got me some time then too. i got up when he got up this morning, called in sick, then proceeded to watch 4 movies from my netflix account on my laptop. can you tell i’m happy to have my internet back!? ha. i love that i’m totally saving money and my internet seems to be even faster! (i switched from cable to dsl). i forgot i like dsl. i’ll have to remember that…you know, in 2 years when my contract is up. ha!
brian and i should go grocery shopping tomorrow before the weather gets bad again. kinda sucks cause everybody is going to be grocery shopping, but oh well. i need to buy cookie making goodies as well as a few staples. we’re out of cheese, for christ’s sake! i don’t think i can remember the last time we were out of cheese…
i’m making four different kind of holiday treats this year. i will probably have to double the recipes too to make sure i have enough goodies for work, presents, and sending to my parents and brother. hopefully it’ll all come out okay. i did have to change one recipe cause when i looked it up, it had only gotten one star from 5 different people. apparently it ends up pretty boring. so i’m replacing it with another chocolate mint bar recipe.
um, yeah, ramble ramble. back to movie watching methinks.
