it looks like someone pooped on your arm.

I’m more horrendously tired than I thought humanly posssible; however, the painting (of the upstairs at least) is almost finished. We have one more coat to put on the accent wall tonight after work and then we’re done done done. Thank God. Painting is for sucks. It looks awesome though, and pictures will be posted later.

I really have nothing new to add since we were painting all weekend. Brian and I know what ceiling fan we’re going to get for the bedroom and I picked out drawer/shelf liners yesterday at Home Depot. They’re not AMAZINGLY FABULOUS, but they’ll do. Much better selection than anywhere else I have been. Though I would hazard to guess that Lowe’s selection probably isn’t too poor either.

We also stopped by Barnes & Noble for some reading materials. Our books were packed up within the first week of buying the house and though I kept out a book or two, I have already devoured them and needed something new. I picked up Spook by Mary Roach since I liked Stiff so much. I would highly recommend Stiff to anybody who hasn’t read it and who appreciates Non-Fiction. Roach has such a fabulous, slightly dry sense of humor. I very rarely will laugh out loud at books and I did during Stiff, so yes, read it, its good.

We are moving next weekend. Which means this week I have to do the following:

-Second coat on accent wall
-put cupboard doors back on
-put sconces back up in living room
-put outlet covers back on
-scrape out remainder of drawer/shelf liner from kitchen and bathroom
-give kitchen a clorox scrub down, especially fridge
-give washing machine a clorox scrub down
-run some cleaner through dishwasher once…i’m sure there is probably dust in there…and maybe bugs…ew
-pack up rest of apartment…this is such a huge job that i don’t feel this little tiny dash does it justice
-Call Comcast and see what kind of deal they can get me on my Internet
-Schedule internet and phone service hookup at the new place

I *think* that’s it. I’m sure i’ll think of more later, but for now, this shall be helpful.
