A long time ago I said that I would post things all the time when I had a reliable wifi network setup. I lied. I've had a pretty good wifi network going for at least 7 months, and never have I kept that promise. I want to say I will, but I may or may not. I should, it'll keep my writing sharp, I haven't really written anything of importance in awhile.

In other news, I finally bought a dSLR, well I did back in December. A Pentax K-x. It's an awesome little camera, and for the moment it's all I need until I outgrow it, but that'll be no time soon. Oddly enough since I've had the camera I've not done any of the things I wanted the extra creative control for. No sunsets, and no light graffiti. I have been shooting a lot of portraits, and everyday mundane things.

One of my better shots so far:

Against all conventions I've started playing WoW. Started after I bought the game for $5 at Gamestop on Black Friday. I have a lvl 10 Night Elf Druid, a lvl 37 Gnome Mage, a lvl 45 Human Paladin, and a lvl 10 Undead Warlock. I find the game to be addicting but I can manage not to get sucked in for days at a time. I think my longest spell was 8 hours, but in my defense I was listening to FHF and PGP podcasts the whole time, so that kept me in the real world a bit. The only truly traumatic things that's happened so far was the guild leader cleaning out the bank and making me guild leader(I was the only one online at the time) before he bolted.

Starting last fall I've had a radio show at Long Beach City College (KLBC.ORG). It's a talk show in the Hot Talk format, which means pop culture, life, news, whatever really. We've done pretty well so far, we've been crowned DJ of the Month twice, and been named rookies of the year. We have a fan page if you're interested facebook.com/flyingblind

Every winter Olympics that I can remember I've always found Curling to be amusing, and stupid looking, but I always wanted to try it. In January a friend and I went to a Learn-to-Curl session out in Westminster, and I have been (for the most part), been Curling every week since. It's fun to play, and everyone should try it at least once. During our first game we went in a team theme, the Power Rangers, and since then we've been known as such.

That's about all the new stuff that's been going on. There's more but I can't recall it right now.
