Desktop Meme and update on my class
1. Anyone who looks at this entry please post this meme and their current wallpaper at their LiveJournal.

Why did I use this wallpaper? Ummm why not? I like these kinds of random pictures that are inspiring or whatever. Almost time for a change though. lol
And yeah I had to give in to getting Firefox for anyone going OMGWTFBBQ YOU HATE FIREFOX! 8OOO! (or whatever) I managed to kill IE. Doooon't ask xD Okay. I didn't kill it but damn near it. It was just easier to admit defeat. *fails and waves the white flag* you guys win.
So as for Science Fiction it's going really well. I'm not one to reccomend course books to anyone usually but so far I'd reccomend every book we've read. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Time Machine (H.G.Wells), and Out Of The Silent Planet (C.S.Lewis) so far. We're also planning to read Red Plant, The Left Hand of Darkness, and a whole bunch of others.
My Prof is a Tolkeinist. She's been studying in Glasgow. And she's like, a teenager. She's great. She's really amusing and whatwhatwhat!? I'm participating a lot in this class!? Epic stuff dude. Very epic.
But yes, I really reccomend these books. The way that she explained C.S. Lewis' Out of the Silent Planet was essentially (because C.S. Lewis and JRR Tolkein were friends and read each others work) "Essentially Lewis wrote it as a scenario of IF TOLKEIN GOT DROPPED INTO OUTER SPACE...THIS WOULD HAPPEN!" And Tolkein laughed about it. XD
Overall great class so far ^^
