So I figured I'd make an info post for Blütenschweif und Orchidee.
Blütenschweif und Orchidee means Anthurium and Orchid.
I decided on this as a title after I found myself looking up flower meanings one day. I stumbled on a questions and answers for giving gifts as flowers and came across this question:
What two flowers meaning Lust and Ecstasy are only appropriate as gifts for lovers and should never be given in corporate gifts?
The answer was Anthurium and Orchid. The reason behind this is because the meaning of Anthurium is Lust and Orchid is Ecstasy and Sexuality.
I figured this would be a good title considering the content. (lol yeaaah xD)
I have written up the bios of each character (Eventually I'll post up some drawings of them as well. Y'know when I get off my lazy butt and do it)
For now I'll give you the bios for Klaus and Nils. Eventually I'll post up each bio that I do have but for now I'll just do two. They're under a cut.
More info posts to come (as I type chapter 6 xD)
Name: Klaus Dietrich
Age: 298 Appears 21
Family: Unknown
Personality: Klaus is quiet and rather solitary. He avoids much contact with people except for his meals and spends most of his time sitting in the highest tower in his castle. Of course he commonly loses himself in his thought or hides away in his room where he works on inventions or anything really that catches his interest.
Behaviour: He is a strong and has a commanding presence that causes him to be very dominant and somewhat forceful when he wants something. He is not vicious but can be if something angers him enough. He generally acts much like a prince.
Likes: Flowers, Trinkets, Stars, Inventing, Wind
Dislikes: Sunlight (for obvious reasons), Noise, Hunters
Physical Appearance: Klaus is six feet tall, has long black hair that reaches his lower back. It is often tied back with a white ribbon though the bangs fall carelessly into his eyes. His eyes are deep blue and seem endless and contemplating. He wears very old looking clothes that cause him to look very princely. He is slightly toned but not overly muscular and is very pale.
Background: Klaus’s sire was Lord Noah Lehmann and he was turned on his twenty-first birthday. His sire had employed him as his personal attendant and had liked his spunk. He gave him eternal life on his twenty-first birthday. Klaus got his style from Lord Noah who had been alive since medieval times. This influenced Klaus’s princely appearance.
Soon after Noah moved on to a different country, Klaus took over his place at the castle. It retained its rather rundown image on the outside but on the inside it was a lush soft inside. He has done his best to keep up what he liked though, the garden, which people designated the secret garden since it seemed to grow and thrive on no help.
Name: Nils Winter
Age: 19
Family: Mother and Father, both deceased.
Personality: Nils is a very closed off person and seems to shy away from too much attention. He seems to think his existence is a curse and that he shouldn’t be alive since he find himself responsible for anything bad that happens. He has a fear of being hurt and used but tries his best to keep up his guard.
Behaviour: He is a very quiet person that doesn’t really act out too much. He doesn’t assert himself too much because he has a weaker disposition. He’s much like a puppy that’s been hit too much.
Likes: Animals, Flowers, Dark rooms, Butterflies, Dragonflies
Dislikes: Large crowds, himself, Spiders
Physical Appearance: Nils is five feet, seven inches tall and has medium length brown hair that is layered nicely and comes to just below his chin at the longest part. His bangs fall lightly into his eyes which are different colours, one emerald green and one a darker shade of violet. He’s rather thin and feminine in his body shape and looks quite small compared to some other males.
Background: When he was younger Nils’ home burned to the ground and everyone except him was killed in the blaze. He also seemed to cause a string of bad luck wherever he went but was never harmed or in any trouble himself. The village he lived in started to believe he was a cursed child and ostracized him, sending him to live on his own outside the village. Whenever he came into town to get anything he needed such as food or anything of his basic necessities he would have to stock up because he hated going into town. When he’d go people would call things out at him, telling him he was a curse and that he was a devil. Often people would throw rocks or anything else they could find near them and brave children would actually run up and kick him.
Nils lost all his self esteem and began to believe that he was a curse child and that he was really bringing all kind of bad luck to the village so he kept to himself and stayed in his small home unless he was getting what he needed from town. He hated his own existence but was too scared to commit suicide so he just lived with his guilt.
