I really like the idea of the story and the first few paragraphs, but I have to say that the bold-italic font is extremely eye-unfriendly. It makes my head hurt to read it, and I know I'm not alone-- that kind of formatting is really only good for a couple of lines or a paragraph. For the sake of having more readers, would you consider posting the story in standard text?
It's funny you mention it because the bold italic text isn't intentional, not at all. I'm having huge problems with LJ today with regards to formatting and I can't get the chapter to post in standard text - unless I perhaps delete the entry and re-post. It's keeps reverting to bold italic font and is driving me crazy today, lol.
I can promise, future chapters will be in standard text.
Holy cow, just tried to change it and it worked first time. \0/ Win! I'm a little OCD for getting the formatting correct and it was driving me potty...and there I was thinking LJ hated me. : D
No worries, don't be sorry, I find formatting like that really distracting myself too so you can imagine how much I was pulling my hair out when I posted...serves me right for rushing to post this morning before I went to work.
