Day 04 - Favorite Book
Phewy. This is a hard one for me because I studied English Literature at college and I've always had a passion for reading. Unfortunately Supernatural came along (see Day 03), which Iead me to discovering fanfiction and as a result books and I parted company...at least for a little while.
For the last two years I've barely read a single book because I'm too busy consuming fanfiction on a daily basis.
Anywho, my choice isn't the best book in the world. It's not the most well written or insightful, it's not going to change people's lives but it's my favorite because it makes me feel good and that's why I keep going back to it time and time again.
Little Women by Lousia May Alcott. It has all the qualities I would normally avoid like the plague - it's oversentimental and so super sweet in places it gives me toothache but I love it. Especially at this time of year and as the picture below shows, I love the movie adaptations too including the 1933 Hepburn version.
