"RIGHT YOU MISERABLE BASTARDS, LET'S SEE WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED WHILST I WAS GONE!" Johnny bellows at the lads as he approaches on horseback. He jumps down and strides over, wondering if they'll notice how much muscle he's put back on with the good food from the bar. He draws his sword and aims a few practice swipes at the Privates, most of whom drop their swords and wibble out of the way.

"Bloody useless!" he declares after ten minutes of doing this. "Winston, light a fire, Tobal go and get more wood, Duff, settle my horse into the stable. Where's Murphy and Gumble?"

He strides over to the tents and pulls one open to find the two missing men putting their trousers back on. They stare up at him with a look of terror that can really only mean one thing.

The expression Jack Frost wears when he's frightened.

"You two get your trousers on and don't let me catch you... slacking again." he says gruffly, dropping the tent door and turning around to the rest of the men. "Well what are you standing around for? Duties, or drill, I'll be back in ten minutes and I expect you all to put up a decent fight when I call you."

He feels in his pocket for the packet of cigarettes, but it's empty. He sighs and wishes he'd brought more, but the journey back had been almost a week. He gets the packet of papers out and looks around for a nearby tree, which he scrapes the bark off of and rolls up. He lights it, takes a deep inhalation and nearly chokes, having become accustomed to smoking real cigarettes. He notices one of the men faffing around with a large bag and yells out.

"PRIVATE WIG STOP MESSING AROUND AND GET ON WITH YOUR DUTIES!" he yells, taking a small smile of satisfaction in making the man nearly jump out of his skin. And then coughs violently, the bark making his eyes water.

And then he freezes as he catches sight of a shadow moving slowly through the trees.

And draws his sword and charges as Private Tobal in front of him falls slowly to the ground with an arrow in his back.
