(no subject)
Well, I had a good 5 day weekend for the most part.
Tuesday afternoon, my dad told me that he didn't really like the fact that I was getting back with Glenn (he's 2 months late) and that if I move back in the apartment, then "I'm on my own". Can't really see the difference in being on my own or what happens now with him, but whatever. i haven't really addressed the issue with him yet, cause I don't really know how to put it and to get all of my thoughts to him, without being a bitch. I was thinking an email since I'm way better at putting my thoughts down on paper.
Thursday, I cooked Thanksgiving Dinner.
1. Everyone who acts like its some job to cook turkeys, is putting on a show. It was unbelievably easy. I mean season and pop in the oven for 2 hours. How much easier could it get? I made some side items we both like, some cookies and bought an Oreo cream pie. His friend Brian also came over cause he has no family to eat with. So they ate and watched football and I went and hung out w/my family for a while at my grandpas big fine new house in Slaughter.
2. Turkey really does make you SUPER sleepy.
Glenns parents were also in town from Atlanta this week for Thanksgiving. They came over Thursday, Friday and Saturday and they left for home on Sunday. I love them. Soooo nice. I don't know why Glenn seperates himself from them so much, but he shouldn't. His stepmom and I were talking and they are SO much alike its unreal.
We didn't go see Harry Potter cause between me cooking Thanksgiving, me visiting family nad his family coming over, we had no time. Our time management skills must suck, but it probably doesn't help that I clonked out and took a 2 hour nap in the middle of the day.
This weekend we just hung out and chilled. A relaxing vacation for sure. No drama and we got along great.
Now I'm back at work and we only have about 14 more days to work THIS YEAR and the rest of it is a PAID VACATION. WOOT.
My moms birthday is the 7th and shes coming HOMMMMMMMMMMME on the 17th. I so cannot wait. I miss her. She told me the other night that we'd HAVE to go eat some Albashas(Greek) since she hasn't had it since she left and no one ever eats it with me. YAY.
