less of a vacation, more like torture.
Knitting-
I have finally finished all the pieces to the Kyoto sweater. So why didn't I jump up to seam on the neck band? Only god knows. The rest of the sweater is put together and pouting on my bookshelf. Poor thing.
I found a project for the worsted weight cotton, a baby sweater for Andrew(Scott's cousin) and Sarah's baby. It is out of a really great book by Erika Knight.
Life-
Went and got tips for the vacation. Holy crap they ended up long. I may walk down to the mail salon in the kroger shopping center to have them shortened a little before we leave for PR. They are really long, like half inch long. It's like I have claws. I don't think I realized how long they would be in actual use. You have no idea how hard it is to type this, yet I do anyway...
My attempts at being slightly tan have failed, I hate being hot and sweaty, and seeing as there is no pool near me to dip into when I get too hot, sunning sucks.
I am beginning to harbor resentment towards my boyfriend. I'm not entirely sure why though, because if he weren't asleep on my couch in his underpants, he'd be on this computer, or playing some video game in his underpants. He would most like not find anything to with me, like read on the couch with me while I knit, or make us dinner or do laundry which desperately needs doing. Why is he asleep on my couch, you might ask? Oh that's because he stayed up very late last night. He thinks he can get out of me being mad at him by not telling me when he went to bed, but strangely enough I am still angry at him.
In other news Minerva is a pain in the ass. She engineered me running over my Lightning bolt/Harry Potter ring with Scott's computer chair and flattening it, she chews on all my knitting needles, not just the woods, and the yarns too. Damn her calico hide.
okay the nails are telling me it is tie to stop typing.
