This is a plan getting ready to make a Trap (or land) on the flight deck. you can see the hook hanging down from the back bottom of the plane. That is how the plane stops ( basiclly it catches a rope).
This is a pic of some guys play touch football on the flight deck during a "steel beach picnic". That'a what it's referd to to when they grill and cook out on the flight deck.
