Tuesday night at the Inferno
A strange thing happened to me one night. It was my friend Liz's 20th birthday, and we were all going out clubbing that night to celebrate. First, we went down to the Fox and the Feather and had a few drinks. I had about half a pitcher of beer. Sheena joined us after awhile. Then, around 11:30, we headed back out to Elgin Street to check out the club scene. There was a long line-up outside the Inferno, so we hopped in line. By 12:15, we finally got in. But, it was while standing in line that I noticed two familiar faces: Jaclyn Katz and Rebecca Fine were there, trying to cut in through the VIP line. They got in shortly before we did. These were girls I hadn't seen since grade six at Hillel Academy! They still looked pretty much the same, and Jaclyn even recognized me once we were in the club. Apparently she goes to Bishop's now. It was really weird, seeing all these people from my past, while dancing with my Lisgar friends. We didn't end up staying very long, because Heather was driving me and Sheena home, and she wanted to leave around one. So, that's my story.
