update
I haven't posted in 36 weeks... Kaia is almost 36 weeks.(will be on tuesday) Life is wonderful but so crazy busy. We have just bought a new house, but won't be moving until moving day which sucks. It will take much work, but should be worth it. I'm so happy to be moving to NDG where I will be able to walk to places!
Kaia continues to be a delight and joy every day. She's heavy. 15lbs 10oz or 7.08kg. I've been knitting more and hanging out at Ariadne. They are awesome and rock my world. (they are also my dealer, and I rarely leave without buying something but that's another story. MMMMmmmmmmmm yarn.......) I have made new friends, and Kaia has made me more of an extrovert. I guess babies will do that. Every coming up to talk with her, and telling me she looks like a doll. Oh, and they love her bald head and swirl. I do too! One day she'll have more hair, but I'm in no rush for that.
In other news, I am loving my pilates class. I still love my yoga class, and the instructors kick ass. If you are looking for a yoga/pilates studio, go to Ambaa Yoga in St.Henri.
I feel like every sentence I come up with has Kaia in it. She has taken ALL my focus. I guess there really isn't much about my life that isn't intricately connected to her right now. I am with her all day and all night, only leaving for 1-1.5 hours at a time if I really need to. I don't really mind at the moment, but I suspect it makes for pretty boring reading. (even the yoga sentence above had stuff about her in it, because she comes with me to class and loves it there)
In other news, we are selling our current home and have to pack up and store a large amount of stuff really damn fast. We are getting the dings in the wall filled, the walls that need it painted, etc. We want to be on the market before the end of april. This is a daunting task. Especially if you've seen my office. With the interruptions it makes it very slow going. If anyone wants to come over and play with Kaia while I pack sometime, I'd be more than grateful. (to make matters worse, I'll be gone to california with Kaia and jbash from april 10-18)
