Plastic passion
So, I felt like a real graduate student today. I have a nice little office type-thingy, and I was up there a bit ago writing a paper and listening to my i-tunes. Very cozy. All i need now is a wireless card so i can get the internet up there. Then life would be perfect.
On another note, there's a thing here at Purdue called "Maymester." It's like a spring semester i guess, but it takes place in May. I'm still undecided about how i feel regarding that term. To be honest, I'm a little grossed-out by it.
Also, there was an i-tunes battle happing between Massive Attack and Morphine. Well, it was a battle on MY i-tunes, anyway. I think Morphine won today for best work music.
I submitted an abstract to a conference today. It was a little weird, seeing as how I've never written an abstract for a paper that doesn't exist. Man, I so want to go to this conference. FINGERS CROSSED, PEOPLE!!!
