Things have been a lot better now that August is over. lol.
So last month, I got strep, then about a week or a week and a half after almost fully recovering from strep, my root canal/crown started to hurt which turned out to be a root canal infection, which then led me to getting it extracted. Now I have a missing tooth. :( It's not as weird as it was before and the taste of blood has gone away, but it's still strange to only chew on the right side of my mouth. The gap is really big since it was one of my molars.
On Tuesday since I was off, Nghia, Joey, and I went on an adventure to North Carolina. It was really fun even though the trip didn't turn out to be that great. lol. On the way down to Nags Head, NC, we stopped by a local farmers market on the side of the road. I got some boiled peanuts! Lol. It was way too salty and expensive, so next time I'll make my own. We also went to this awesome gas station. It had a dairy queen, some little food join, tobacco shop, a room where you could gamble, and pretty much a large convenient store. We drove down a street that was close to the shore of the beach to look at the houses. Some were nice but most were old and kinda scary looking. The majority the the houses also had top decks extending well above the roof of the house, which I'm assuming is for tanning and made the house look funny. We decided to look on the gps for some cool places to explore. There was something about a ghost museum or something so we decided to go there. When we got there there was a black cat right in front of where we parked; we all laughed. The building was actually someone's gallery but we went in anyway. The place was very strange. There were a bunch of random "art" especially of cats and dogs. When we were ready to leave, there was another cat standing in the doorway expect it was on the inside of the building. We eventually left after someone else did. lol. Then, we went to some place called Wings that didn't sell any food at all; it turned out to be a souvenir shop. We had fun in there though cause we were "dancing" with the music and playing around with the stuff. Nghia kept rolling my shoulders back as the dance, I kept laughing cause it felt funny and knew I looked ridiculous. We decided to go to a place called High Cotton BBQ for dinner since the reviews were good and they wanted bbq. Food was awful! I hate how people could be so wrong about places! I know everyone has a different opinion and taste, but man that place was bad! The service wasn't great so it's not like it made up for the food. I didn't like a thing they had, even the fries were mediocre. After that, we got dessert at an ice cream shop on the same strip. Nghia and I shared a monkey madness. Joey had the brilliant idea of eating outside even though it was 8 at night and it was dark. I told him there were bugs but he said there wouldn't be cause we're at the beach. lol. I went inside for a spoon and when I came back out, I saw a swarm of mosquitoes around them. I told them to go inside to finish it instead. When we were inside, they counted their mosquito bites. lol.
I think Nghia and Joey are planning something for my birthday. Joey revealed that he was going to try to plan a surprise bday party for me in Orlando and they all fly/drive down for it if I stayed there for my bday. They keep talking about the "thing" to tease me and Nghia kept pulling his phone away so I couldn't read his messages to Joey. Oh well, I'll find out eventually.
I have my very first appointment with Dr. Goldstein, a gynecologist, today. Eeek! Not really prepared to feel violated or show my private area to a stranger, but I'll suck it up. x.x
Work still kinda sucks. As long as I don't have to talk/deal with the bitch then I'm okay. She very easily ruins my day though.
School is still a work in progress. I'm going to reactivate my application for UCF and go there to talk to someone when I'm down in Orlando. I hope in-state tuition isn't a problem.
Off to the gyno now. x.x
