I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become
Maybe I'm just going crazy, but I feel like mom's been unhappy with me lately. Is it me or the people I associate with? She's just seemed displeased with everything, I can't tell. I've always been the type who isn't very good at observations (if you want something specific for your birthday/Christmas/etc., don't drop oblique hints, I won't get it), so maybe it's just something my mind cooked up. Lord knows the heat would do it anyway.
