On the cat front...
Apparently Sassy and Zerk (who is SUCH a cat tease!) were playing together last night. They couldn't be honest about it, though, because Sassy is too queenly and mature to *play*, especially with one of those other beasts. Please. She is not *his* queen, after all.
So they were trying to catch each other's paws under the bathroom door, Sassy on one side, Zerk on the other.
I wish I had seen it.
In other cat news, Bella's babes are getting so BIG. I can't wait to see how much they weigh this weekend. Snitch held my hand down and gave me a thorough grooming last night after I got home from work. They both come to me and show off a bit when I get down there. I keep resisting the urge to lick their little heads. And I was so proud of their using their litter box that I seriously almost cried. I have completely inappropriate mother feelings for these kitties, in a very territorial "MINE" sort of way, but also knowing that they'll be leaving the den to make their own lives soon.
Laure brought up the very good concern of their being black kittens and it being almost Halloween. I'll have to be careful about that. The bastids. But we'll see how much they weigh before I start making my list of possible adoptive people.
