I've been getting calls from that phone number with phone reps asking me to verify the last four digits of my Visa debit card and address. I got suspicious and put the number into Google and found out this is some sort of scam. Anyone else get one of these calls?

It's a scam, calling several times a day. I found two routes work well, tell them you just signed up 5 minutes ago and why are you calling me now? OR pretend you are one of your relatives and say you are dead and ask them if they want the number of the probate attorney. That second one stops them all the time.

Another thing to do is to call the Visa fraud department. I'm sure they've heard of this, but they'll probably step up their anti-identity theft efforts.

I suppose you could call the phone company or the police about it too. Obviously you don't want to confirm your card or identity information.
