Where do I begin?
Well, I know I have not updated in eons here. A lot has happened since my last proper update. Far too much to catch everyone up on.
So, we'll go with the basics as of late.
I am sick. Have been sick for awhile in various ways but just recently got a diagnosis that changed everything. I have cancer. More specifically, Stage 3 Melanoma. I started a new blog to keep my family updated on everything going on. It can be found here if anyone wants to follow it: http://sara-willi.blogspot.com/
I have become the forever optimist because I refuse to believe that 27 years is all I will get on this earth. Since my cousin died back in 1999, I have had the mantra of living each day as your last because you never know what tomorrow brings. Now, that becomes more poignant than ever before. I hope to have another 60 years of life ahead of me, but if I don't and I only get another 6 months, then I want to make the best of them.
I have been getting in contact with old friends that have fallen by the wayside for one reason or another. Making sure everyone knows how important they have been to me. "Forget regret or life is yours to miss. No other road. No other way. No day but today." is a theme in the musical Rent that means a lot to me. Now it's become my life theme.
I have been traveling a lot to see Rent live. I consider it akin to group therapy for me.

If you are a friend of mine on here, you are there for a reason. I love you all whether you played a small part in the ensemble or a leading role in my life. You have played a part in my life regardless.
