Oh Canada........and more

Ok so I am going to start in the middle of the weekend.......Saturday morning Iloni and I headed down to St. Claire Shores for the bridal shower. On our way down there we picked up Jackie which was awesome and always good to have another pair of eyes. As we were just about to get on 96 I think it was.....we were down to one lane of traffic on 75. So I am like oh this is cool....but after a little while all was well. Finally got to Trisha's parents home and helped finish setting up and what not. Her shower was absolutly beautiful. It was outside and the day couldn't have been more perfect. She had gotten a lot of wonderful gifts which she was super excited about. Then after we did the clean up we all headed to Canada. Got to our hotel only to find out that there were no parking spots. So After they checked in Kim and I found a parking garage where the first hour was free and then a $1 for every hour after that (can we say rip off). So we walk down the enterance to the thing which is clearly marked No Pedestrians past this point but we don't care we do what we want. And as we are walking back to the hotel we find this parking lot directly accross from our hotel that is $10 a night. So we run back up the ramp that we weren't supposed to go down the first place and head to that parking lot. The air conditioning in our hotel room barely worked and I am not used to sleeping with out air. But by the time I actually got to bed that night I was passing out. Around 10pmish we left to go out on the town. I ended up getting trashed. Which was the whole point of the night anyways. We got in everywhere for free considering we were a bacholorette party. I hugged a beautiful musician. What can I say I have a soft spot for them....even though I could never in a million years date one. Oh the way that man hugged me I don't think I will ever forget it. Oh I heart him. Anyways......at one of the clubs Iloni and I were dancing and then I was looking around and there was a circle of 15 guys around us. I was like well thats fun. One of them tried to dance with me but honestly I don't like dancing with guys because they throw off your rythme and sometimes they are just to grabby. Not to mention I was there to just have a good time with the girls. After we got home from the bar Trisha and I hungout outside of the hotel and just talked. Her and I haven't had a really good talk in a long time. The thing that sucked though was this girl sat by us while her brother went into the hotel for a minute and she didn't really leave. So she interrupted our conversation but the best part was is that she was going threw a divorice. I was like are you serious. When Trisha and I got back to the hotel we ordered some food which was the best takeout I have seriously ever had. It wasn't greasy at all and it tasted like it was homemade. We ended up leaving the next morning around 8 or 8:30amish.....dropped Trisha off and then reached MP around 1:30 2pmish. As soon as I got home I just crashed. I have never been so tired in my life. Trisha had a blast......and so did everyone else I do believe.

On Thursday I went down to Lansing to hangout with Marcy and Chris. Chris had made us a lovely dinner of Salmon, sauteed mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and salad. That was serioulsy one of the best dinners that I have had in a long time. I missed hanging out with those guys so much. Friday I had a doctors appointment......which apparently everything seems to be a ok in that department which is always a plus. I stopped in Okemos on my way home and bought some new lipstick. Its definetly a different color then what I normally where but I love it. It looks so good and then thing that sold me on it was that she told me if brought the brown out in my eyes. It seriously took a good half an hour or so to pick out the lipstick. Monday I just slept on and off all day and then I worked on my chair for a little while. Jamie ended up coming over and she brought me a present. Which was two canvases. You have no idea how excited I am about these. Now all I have to do is figure out what to paint. I am thinking abstract......but not for sure what exactly.

Today I called around to get estimates on the alteration of the dress.........its going to run around $60-$70. But it has to be done so I don't really have a choice. I know it will all be worth it in the end and Trisha would do it for me in a heartbeat.

My sister called me today and told me that my mom went to U of M today because of her stomach and her doctor thinks it may be either her galbladder or pancreous (spelling?). So I will more then likely call her tonight to see what that is all about.
