The happy one is Terra, who should have more tattoos than that, but nvm. She makes machines and stuff for a living. No, she's not a lesbian. She's bi. 8D
The paranoid one is Ursa, who I honestly admire for still being alive after all the planning I've done for that comic. Yeah, she whacked off her hair at some point. Had something to do with the guy Terra wants to hook her up with, a blindfold and a sword.
The caption goes something like this:
Terra: Imma hook this up with my bff.
Ursa: Oh Lord Sozin, wtf, do not want...
Terra's arms are bugging me the hell off... Getting body proportions correct is hard work. lmao Hmm'k, I'll see if I can start acutally studying the art books I buy from shops when I go back to school. Not promising anything, though, since I'm one crabby cow when it comes to going to school. lol Well, one thing's for sure, I have a long way to go before the comic...

Hmm'k, the comic... Ozai and Zhao have been pretty much taken out of the picture and are now secondary characters, unfortunately. The main seems to be Ursa, and there's an earthbender OC, machinist OC (who I believe you've met), Wing Chun & staff specialist/drunkard OC, waterbending OC, psycho blade specialist OC and crazy lightningbending OC who appear to be the mains alongside Ursa.
It's mainly set on a hidden island located smack-inbetween the Eastern and Western Air Temples called Bamboo Island (because of teh pandas lolz, i r smrt and will probably rethink the name soon), but is probably going to go to other locations as well (definitely to Ba Sing Sei).
The main villain is an ancient firenation traitor who has been tracking and ending the lives of spiritual relatives of Aang for a good number of years of his life. The reasons are currently unknown. ;P
Ursa is definitely a firebender in the fancomic. Done some research on the golden eyes thing since plushulala mentioned it, and I haven't found a single firebender without golden eyes or proven non-bender with golden eyes. I love the theory, and it's mostly just for her own defense, really. lol She can generate lightning; but not only is it known to explode in her face at first depending on her mood, she also doesn't use the skill very often because of the nature of it. She can't redirect lightning, which becomes a massive weakness in time. She learns how to control white fire (which was a triggered ability when she was a child) in a way which I'm not telling you yet. lol Ursa seems to get better at firebending as time goes on, since she ends up being able to heat or cool tea in Ba Sing Sei and jet propel towards the end of the comic when she couldn't before. She might become something of a master by the end of the comic.
Other characters like Jeong Jeong, Piandao and Iroh appear in some way (though Jeong Jeong & Iroh probably only predominantly in flashbacks).
My version of Iroh's spirit journey will be included. Ah, and the airbenders? Definitely considering something...
Oh man, though, I have all the martial arts to think about when I design the characters... XD Thank lord half of them are street rats...
